Summer Programs 2024

DSC Summer Programs are bigger than ever this year! We offer a wide range of Summer Programs for DSC and non-DSC students. The Summer Programs will run from July 2 to August 18 at our Taikoo Shing campus, with many different options that would fit everyone's holiday schedule. Our programs include:
- Summer School – Non-Credit Courses Monthly, 2-Week, and Weekly Options
- Summer School – Credit Courses Monthly Options
- Extension Programs (led by selected providers) – Weekly Options
- Pre-University Programs (led by University of Toronto) – Aug 5 - 9, 2024

Required
University of Toronto – Pre-University Summer Program
Ages 15 – 18 years NEW!
Develop essential study skills, critical thinking skills, and other skills that you need for a successful university life. Participants will benefit from a series of experiences delivered and facilitated by University of Toronto professors and instructors from a range of departments. Students can choose from the following programs:
- Introduction to Business and Entrepreneurship
- Introduction to Technology and Design
- Introduction to Medicine and Health Science
Summer School – Non-Credit Courses
Ages 5 – 15 years (PG1 – Grade 8)
Our Non-Credit Courses are perfect for those who are looking for a monthly option to level up your child's skills in different subject areas. Both 2-week and 1-week options are also available.
With both morning and afternoon sessions available, you can also build your own full-day program with our lunch supervision and bus service.

Extension Programs
Ages 4 – 18 years
Let's discover a new passion and develop some new skills over the Holidays! We offer over 50 different kinds of programs in our weekly Summer Camps, in order to fit everyone's busy holiday schedule, there are different options ranging from 1-hour lessons to half-day camps. All the programs are open to the public.
- Creative Arts – Indigo Dye, Felting, Cake Decorating, Film & multimedia
- Music – DJ, Guitar, Drum, Ukulele
- Sports – Badminton, Basketball, Gymnastics, Tennis, Soccer, Taekwondo
- Performing Arts – Musical Theatre, Drama, Dance
- Life Skills – Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Internship
Summer School – Academic Credit Programs (Grade 9 – 12)
Ages 15 – 18 years
DSC is offering a variety of credit programs for those who would like to reach ahead and earn credits during the summer holiday. We offer:
- English (Grade 9 – 12)
- English as a Second Language (ESLCO / ESLDO)
- Civics and Citizenship and Career Studies (Grade 10)
- Exploring Technologies (Grade 9)
- Mathematics (Grade 9 – 10)
- Functions (Grade 11)
Eligibility
All students will be enrolled in a Summer Academic Program according to their year of birth, and the grade placement reflects the coming school year.
Students taking a credit course must have completed prerequisites. Non-DSC Credit Course applicants must bring their latest transcript and/or report card to the interview to provide proof of prerequisite requirements. There is an ESL Placement Test for Non-DSC students entering the ESL credit courses.

2. Please ensure your child is in the eligible grade
3. Payment via Paypal are required after the submission of the form
4. Failure to remit payment will result in the loss of the registration request
Terms & Conditions
- Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, with the exception of programs canceled by the school due to insufficient enrolment
- No refunds, credits, or make-up lessons will be offered for student absence or in cases of inclement weather
- Students may be removed from the summer program due to behavior deemed inappropriate
- Parents will be informed via email in cases when courses are canceled due to low enrolment, inclement weather, and course cancellation due to teacher unavailability
